Description
Music is such an important part of my paintings. Here, the blues let loose on the canvas in colors uncharacteristic of a broody jazz tune. Imperceptible birds flutter through bursts of color, giving movement to the scene. I let the music guide my brush, and I find that the result gives a sense of rhythm to the permanent image.
