As part of my Derricks and Landfills series, this debris-laden landscape portrays seagulls on the horizon. Just below sits a yellow bulldozer, monotonously pushing trash from one pile to the next. This depiction illustrates what a motorist sees while traveling down highway 7 in Colorado. The man-made ugliness obstructs our view of what should really be there.
