Memorialized on the 2006 Colorado state quarter, Longs Peak is the tallest and most majestic peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. This beautiful scene inspired me while living in Colorado. But the controversy over mining in the area is a sore subject for those of us who feel connected to such landscapes.
