Description
Orange and yellow leaves adorn the surface of lakes and rivers in autumn months. I have painted these fallen leaves in stream in two stages of movement. First, they have fallen from a tree onto the water’s surface, and second, the current pulls them relentlessly onward. By including two panels, I can create a fuller story, one with movement and inertia. As the leaves flow downstream, this movement begins to break up and disintegrate the beautiful scene.
