Description
Dark shades of red, brown, and yellow eerily drip across this scene of city chaos. Avenues abruptly end, disjointed across the miasma of an unknown landscape. Cities are chaotic places, an enormous departure from the grand beauty of the countryside. Why do we willingly create such places? Originally entitled “Caught Between,” this painting illustrates city dwellers caught in an urban environment and caught between the plenty of the city and the beauty of the rural areas.
