Description

A snowy mix covers the desiccated prairie grasses and barren trees. Though the scene is white, people who live through winters know this is truly a blue day. This painting expresses a mix of emotions. It begins with wonder, then moves into desolation, and ends with a type of cabin fever. As the snow melts, the fresh blue waters in ditches and creeks foretell of spring.
