James E. Scherbarth (a contemporary oil and cold wax fine artist in Minneapolis) visited my studio today in Faribault. We met at his cold wax workshop I attended in January and asked him to be my mentor for the art grant.
I feel very fortunate for his support, the conversations and suggestions he gives me. So nice to talk thru the process and receive invaluable feedback. His suggestion for painting the prairie is to get down on the bunny level and look thru and out from the grass. Love that!
